Think of your garden as if you are adding other rooms to your house; outdoor rooms for cooking, dining, lounging and entertaining; rooms that offer you a year-round glimpse of the beauty of nature.
A great landscape design will pay attention to creating interesting and beautiful vistas of the landscape from both outside and inside the house. After all, a residential garden is to be enjoyed not only from the outside but from the inside as well. Every view to it and from it matters; a glimpse of a beautiful garden provides a much needed escape from dreariness.
Room with a view
This courtyard entrance features a formal pond with stonework fountain and a natural stone walkway that is open to view from the homeowner’s living room. It replaces what would otherwise be a view to the road with an impressive and calming entryway that gives a welcoming first impression to visitors.
One of the most delightful things about my garden is the anticipation it provides. I have been recommending you to all my friends!

Combine Beauty with Functional Requirements
Just as your interior design combines aesthetics with functionality, so should your gardens. Each area of your garden is an opportunity for beauty and function.
Work with What You’ve Got
Each site has a unique microclimate that is created from the specific soil conditions, daylight hours and weather that affect the growing conditions. So it’s important to consider these factors when planning the garden.
Beautiful gardens are orderly and have happy plants.
Give consideration to the organization of space as well as which hardscape and plant materials will work best in your site’s microclimate. And make sure that your planting plans give consideration to the size of the plants at maturity; so that your garden grows gracefully and does not become a jungle to tame in only a few years. We plan for a garden that will grow and stay beautiful with passing time.
Made for the shade
The whole garden you designed makes us happy and I want to thank you for an excellent job! I feel joyful when the Snowball Viburnums appear. Our neighbours also comment on how much they love our garden!
